Dear Beunbazen,
We’ve completed another year full of fun activities and happenings! To look back on the past year, we put together a small selection of activities and other notable events!
First off something that has been long in the making: we are now officially a Scala member!! This has a lot of benefits for everyone, as this means the continued revival of the FoodCie, which started this year! We can cook and enjoy dinner in the Scala kitchen, which can be combined with another activity like a meet afterwards, or during a movie night in the Scala living room!
Speaking of the living room, this is also a place where we have had some very fun collaborations with other activities in the past year! There have been multiple F1 watch parties together with the Knights of the Kitchen Table and a car tapestry crochet workshop with Stitch!
Furthermore, we organized the third edition of the photography meet together with Dekate Mousa, and had a first ever Initial D watch party with Kinjin!
During the yearly Lunafest organized by Scala, we had three cool activities planned: a pitstop challenge, carburetor tuning and graffiti car art! All three were very well visited and a lot of fun for everyone involved!
After last year’s success, two more rallyes were organized by our members: the Limburg Rallye which was the follow-up of the previous Brabant Rallye and the all-new Gravel Rallye, where we took our cars to some off-road paths and tried to find the correct route! These rallies are inspired by the Waalre Rallye which we where also once again welcome to join due to our voluteering work during the Waalre Classic Rallye!
We drove a bit further in this year’s trips, which also included some classics like the second edition of the Moselfahrt camping trip, and a completely new Christmas market trip! Next to this we went on a fun winter trip during the Carnival holiday and the yearly Nürburgring trip of course made its return!
Next to these far journeys, we stayed a bit closer to home for an indoor karting race, where our members battled each other for the fastest time!
We also got a factory tour at WDH, who produce enormous hydraulic cylinders! Together with Porsche-Schmidt’s visit to one of our promo-meets, this ties into our connections in the industry, which can bring new experiences to our members!
This past year’s promo-meets and stands during the intro week were also a lot of fun and introduced our association to a lot of new people! The plan is to continue this success in the upcoming introweek, so we hope to see many people there!
Afterwards we will also continue the consistent car meets and drinks (borrels), as these are of course our main way of staying in touch with all the members, next to being overall great fun!
We hope to see many of you in the upcoming year, and we hope everyone has enjoyed the past activities and is looking forward to the new ones!
